in Events

We’ve posted the schedule for the 2012 National Guild Auditions.

We’ve also opened the workshop sign-up form for Saturday, July 21st, and Sunday, July 22nd.

We would like to welcome our 2012 National Guild Judge, Dr. Craig John Ralston from Florida.

Dr. Craig John Ralston is the Chairman of the Division of Fine Arts and Professor of Music at Clearwater Christian College. He teaches piano, music theory, composition, advanced analysis and counterpoint, and directs the music ministry teams and the overseas missions program. He performs regularly both as a pianist and as a singer and is an accompanist for recitals both on campus and in the community. Prior to coming to Clearwater he served as music director of Beth Eden Ministries in Denver, CO, where he supervised K-12 music at Beth Eden Christian School and directed the church music program. Dr. Ralston is a judge for the National Piano Guild and is a clinician for choral and composition clinics across the country. His educational background includes Piano and Theory diplomas from the London Royal Schools of Music, a BS in Music Education, 1986 and an MM in Piano from Bob Jones University, 1988, and a DMA in Composition/Theory from The University of Alabama, 1993. He was a student of Dwight Gustafson, Alice Gingery and Frederic Goossen.

All participants must check in half an hour before your scheduled time with your blue check-in paper.
Formal dress code is strictly enforced. Don’t forget to bring your music with measures numbered and titles marked.
We need volunteers to help monitor the audition. High school students are qualified and will receive community service hours. Please contact our office at 714-636-0836 for more information. Thank you.
