It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, and some of our winners have been offered admission to ivy league schools including Yale, Stanford, and Brown universities. Others were recipients of full scholarships to the University of Southern California. It’s a journey filled with great rewards, valuable experience and lots of fun!

Benefits of becoming a Little Chopin student:

1. The most qualified teaching faculty in the area!

We have assembled a team of over 30 music teachers representing a broad range of personalities and teaching styles, so that we can precisely pair students with a suitable instructor. Our teachers are fully certified with degrees from prestigious universities and are committed to helping you reach your musical goals!

2. A proven track record of excellence since 1992.

As one of Orange County’s premiere music schools, we have been trusted by thousands of families over the decades for providing quality music lessons at affordable prices, in a safe and fun environment. Visit our testimonial page and see what our students are saying. We know what we are doing, and are confident that you will be pleased with the advancement and opportunities that musical studies can offer.

3. A comfortable and convenient environment for our clients.

Although we started small, we have grown into a massive 5,000 square foot facility, with 3 distinct teaching areas (Classical, Romantic, and Baroque), in addition to our own recital hall. Each of these areas offers plenty of seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tables where you can study or use your laptop if you like. All of our private lesson rooms have large observation windows on the doors, so you can check up on your child any time, and we welcome you to sit in on their lessons anytime you like.

4. Real pianos in every room.

Keyboards are good, but real pianos are best. That’s why we’ve installed real pianos in every one of our 17 private lessons rooms. In addition, we have two stages each with dueling grand pianos which help prepare advanced students for competitions and quartet performances. You will also find electric pianos equipped with headphones in our waiting areas, so students can brush up on their skills before and after lessons.

5. A dedicated theory department.

There is no doubt, learning how music is composed leads to a greater understanding of how to evoke feelings with phenomenal performances. Our friendly teachers and newly renovated theory department can speed your child’s ability to recognize pitch, sight read music, and understand the motivations behind history’s most famous composers. Those who wish to travel beyond classical music can gain insights into advanced subjects such as music composition, arrangement, and improvisation.

6. All-inclusive Workshops and Recitals.

Playing in front of a live audience is a terrific way for students to build their courage and confidence in their musical abilities. That’s why we hold performance evaluations and recitals on a regular basis in our very own recital hall, equipped with a professional digital sound system and stage lighting. Award ceremonies help to recognize and promote talent, and of course let’s not forget about our end of year recital which includes a full color program as well as refreshments for all participants.

7. Trophies, certificates, and wristbands to celebrate achievement.

In addition to certificates from the yearly Certificate of Merit and National Guild auditions, our students have plenty of opportunities to bring home those coveted trophies. Our in-house recitals always feature award ceremonies in which students receive beautiful trophies and medals, and of course many choose to compete in the various music festivals and competitions which happen every year, such as the Southwestern Youth Music Festival.

8. Professional office staff to serve you.

Customer service is very important to us, and we want all of our families to be happy. Our front office is here to assist you Tuesday through Sunday, and of course we are reachable by phone even when the office is closed. This way you can always speak with someone if you need to reschedule your lessons, and our teachers and students can focus on their studies with minimum interruptions.

9. Conveniently located near the 22 freeway in Orange County!

Our school is located right off the 22 freeway, just west of where the 5 and 57 freeways meet. We draw students from North and South Orange County, from Diamond Bar all the way to Mission Viejo. Our plaza is filled with convenient businesses, including a boba shop where students can pick up a tasty drink. An elevator is available for families with strollers, and plaza security watches over our customers day and night.

10. No long term commitment! Lessons booked in one month blocks.
