We had a great Lunar New Year recital. There were many great performances, and we have chosen 88 performers for our television taping. Please look up your name at the school bulletin board and sign up for the first shoot on Febuary 21, 2011.
Certificate of Merit participants: we will have only one performance workshop for CM. However, you can sign up twice or perform more than one piece of music.
There will be at least three theory tests and you must pass 2 out of 3 in order to take the CM test. You will receive check-in papers this week, please give them to your parents immediately. Thank You.
It’s time to get ready for the recital!
We will have two rehearsals on January 15th-16th and January 22nd-23rd. All recital participants must attend these rehearsals in order to participate in the recital. This years’ Recital will be held here at Little Chopin Piano School. If you can read Vietnamese or would like to host the recital, please sign up in our office.
It’s also time for CM participants’ teachers to enter the repertoires in the MTAC website. CM students please provide your teacher a list of your CM pieces (must include Opus #, movement tempo mark and composer’s full name) on a piece of paper. CM theory will be held at Fullerton College this year.
